Great small town service! We are lucky to have this business in New Sharon! We love their deli meats and cheeses, fresh bread, soft serve ice cream, subs and fryer meals. They also have name brand and off brand groceries at affordable prices and very friendly staff! We love East Market Grocery!

Never been to New Sharon (I am from Des Moines, grew up in the Jefferson/Carroll area), and I think it's awesome that the owner has a 360* navigational view of the store! Especially for a store in a small town! Very nice! Five Stars! I like Hy-Vee and Safeway, but I like the cute little stores like East Market, and the Market of Madrid in Madrid, Iowa for example!
We recently discovered East Market Deli and we absolutely love it! Our office is in Pella, about 25 miles from New Sharon but we gladly make the drive over a couple times a month for an office lunch. The food is fresh, made to order, and so tasty. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have packaged fresh meals in the cooler for take & bake that are just as delicious.
Fast, Friendly Service..the store has virtually everything needed and the food is reasonable and delicious !
Great food and the people are wonderful. We broke down and they helped us get a tow truck. They also had a delicious lunch.
New Sharon is not a large town (and they like that fact), but East Market Deli is something that you'd expect to find in a larger town or city. I'd take the Pepsi Challenge for lunch from them over anything from HyVee. Its truly one of those little treasures in our local area. Great food, and the folks that run it are wonderful.
